Closed home sales in Houston increased by 21.9% year over year during the week ending Aug. 5, with 2,355 closings compared to 1,932 last year. New listings rose by 22.2%, totaling 3,833 properties added to the MLS. However, pending listings decreased by 4.7% to 2,123. Listing views on HAR.com grew by 7.3% to 8,841,173, while showings fell by 6.4% from the previous year, totaling 38,277.
